God Wants All In 2

For years we have told God we didn't want Him in our schools. We didn't want Him in our government and we didn't want Him in our finances and God was being a perfect gentleman in doing just what we asked Him to do. We need to make up our mind — do we want God or do we not want Him. We cannot just ask Him in when disaster strikes. (Anne Graham Lotz)

Last week, I talked about how fully God wants to be involved in our personal lives; He wants all in. He wants to be LORD and part of our lives just like a best friend (not that He isn’t Lord and part of our lives but He wants us to acknowledge it too).

Now, if God wants to be part and parcel of our lives, each and every one of us, then we can equally say that He wants to be LORD and part of our organizations, human societies and all human structures.

God wants to be Lord and part of the local and global economy, the educational sector, the business, entertainment and travel sector and every other sector that exists. He created the entire universe and put it under man’s dominion.

However, man deviated from God’s original plan and although Christ came to make a way for us through salvation, man still fails to acknowledge His Lordship and partnership (with the Holy Spirit).

More so, God has given each and every one us freewill; the power to decide (Deuteronomy 30:19). He desires for us to come back to Him in making the best decision in every area of our lives and our community. God instituted authority and expects those in authority to acknowledge Him as Lord and friend/partner. And even those under authority to honor their rulers and obey Him.

In all these, God wants all in! In government with God being the head, nothing can go wrong (Proverbs 29:2, Isaiah 32:1-8). Wherever He is, the devil flees and everything submits and goes in the right direction. Therefore, I encourage you to make Him Lord and friend; a senior partner.

Make Him Lord over your life, career, relationships, government/leadership, and society and in all you… With Him, nothing can ever go wrong.
