The Bible: By God or by man?

 


Did God Almighty actually drop the book from Heaven and leave the command to have it spread globally?
 
 Was it a man or men who wrote it down?
 
How did such a book with piercing words even come to be?
 
 Is it even real?

This is a question that has plagued mankind and may still bother so many others over time. This controversy has even led to some people abandoning their faith in Christ as they cannot come to a conclusion as to who wrote the Bible… the God we serve or the men that served? Or even scammers??

However, one thing is assured to us: all the answers we’ll ever need in life are in the Holy Bible. Even the answer to this worldwide controversial question is contained in the Bible. Here it goes:

All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and teaches us to do what is right. It is God’s way of preparing us in every way, fully equipped for every good thing God wants us to do.(2 Timothy 3:16-17)

Therefore, it is clear to us that this book was divinely inspired by God to us through various men at various times in various ways (Hebrews 1:1). God cannot come down into this realm to do anything in His form. This was why He came in the form of man and it is through man that He manifests Himself to the world, to give His Word which is able to build us up and keep us in right standing with God.

So, please, be rest assured that the Book you have (or are yet to have) is the right one for you. It’s the best book you’ll have in your library.

Ask for help from the Holy Spirit and the mind of Christ to grasp a revelation of the words; to go beyond prints into the words which are Spirit and life!

And despite all that Job went through, he never gave up on God.      This time is usually a period of testing to see just how much you can hold on to God when He keeps silent in your life. He really wants to show the accuser just how faithful a child He has that won't give up no matter what.

How Much Does Jesus Love You?

We are humans and we know that we are limited in our abilities so we make provisions for such. We can call it the ‘human factor’ or ‘human error’ or whatever we want to call it. When it comes to the subject of love, we tend to also limit ourselves and also place people in our lives on different scales. One will hear questions such as ‘How much do you love me?’ or ‘If you love me then prove it!’ or ‘Do you even love me anymore?’ or ‘I’m sorry. Please don’t leave me.’ I had this mentality too. I could go the extra mile for only a very few set of people who I felt were worth it. I didn't believe that a girl like me could ever be truly and fully loved. This isn't an easy thing to carry along with you into Christianity where you’re told and you read it in your Bible and you’re expected to believe in an all-loving God who will never leave you nor forsake you… in a God who will always show up and will always forgive no matter what… in an everyday kind of lov...

While We're Waiting

James 5:7-8  “Be patient, therefore, brothers, until the coming of the Lord. See how the farmer waits for the precious fruit of the earth, being patient about it, until it receives the early and the late rains.  You also, be patient. Establish your hearts, for the coming of the Lord is at hand.”     Time after time, school goes on a really long break and I have to travel back home. I end up staying at for months and I'm always complaining of the same old thing that plagues most of us: BOREDOM!       I have nothing to do for fun, hardly any friends around and there's always a chore to do which all bores me to tears.      However, someone said something in a Church Class that caught my attention. He said "We're bored because we don't want to think and work. We can't complain of boredom when we're busy".
